I have finished the Sailboat painting commission.

The lines on the boat and sails were challenging to paint.

This is the final image.

This is a 16" x 20" piece, acrylic on linen canvas.

This piece has been sold.

I am starting a commission piece, so the Amaryllis series will be on hold for a bit.  This is the sketch that will become the painting that I will be working on.

I am excited about starting a botaical series of paintings.

I have been taking photos of a red amarylis plant that I planted in a pot a couple of months ago. Taking photos in different stages and angles of its blooming. The amarylis has 5 blooms on one stalk. I plan to do 6- 30" x 30" paintings.
